just replaced brakes

I replace my brake pads and rotors on a 2001 f150 4x4 v8 about 7000 miles ago. They have been squealing ever since. How do I get rid of the screaching noise. Its getting really annoying.

Thanks.

Things to prevent squeeling:

Turn rotors--rinse with water after turning to remove fine metal dust
Bevel pads--cut a 45 degree bevel on the short side of the pads
Caliper lube--use a non-hardening silicone caliper lube on sliders, piston face where it touches the pad, caliper face where it touches the pad. (less is more here)

Also, not to sound like as smart ..., but make sure the backing plate is not rubbing and/or the squeel tab is not bent causing the noise.

Good luck.....

EDIT: there is also materials you can apply to the pad it self to prevent squeeks like BG Brake Quiet, but I use it as a last resort. I've heard of using just a light finger print smear of valve lapping compound too since it is water soluable.
