did bindex? change to ceramic cuz my new shoes look different

I'm not sure you can use ceramic in a drum application because of the extra heat generated. The dum has no way to cool off, unlike a rotor moving air through it's vanes. I think it's Bendix not Bindex, before some fruit gets all bent out of shape for mis-spelling.

Did you mean pads, like for disc brakes? Most applications are starting to mix in some ceramic for longer pad life.

They prob. came up with a new SEMI - METALLIC formula for the shoes, altering the look. As long as they work, who cares.......
