re-gearing with 33??

Exclamation re-gearing with 33??

i just recently bought 325-60r18 pro comp xtreme terrains. i was just wondering if i was going to need to re-gear or if ill be ok...also how much gas mileage should i expect to loose. my old ones were 265-70-17. with the gearing question what gears should i get with it..if i neeed them

They are only an inch taller than your OEM tires. I doubt if you will notice much, if any difference.

You went with larger (probably heavier) rims and larger diameter tires, so you may feel it. I notice with my 33" tire on 17" wheels, but I'm probably the only one.

You may notice it, but I dont think it will be bad enough to justify the $1000 it costs for a re-gear.

Moving up an inch in tire diameter isnt really anything to worry about.

My truck went dead dog after the 285 install.

My error from stock to 285's was 10% measured via GPS vs odometer

I noticed a differance although it was not a big differance. I do get poor gas milage but it might just be the truck. I have been thinking of going to 4.10 gears for some time now but it will run me arround 1200 to 1500 to get both the front and rear done so I am waiting for some bucks to do it. maybe next summer. oh and you never said what your current gear ratio is. right now I have the 3.73 and it issn't too bad but if I had opted for the 3.55 I think I would have gone to the 4.10's allready.
