Question Tire confusion

Help!!! I have a 1998 F150 that is totaly stock. It has 285/75r16 tires on it. There is no lift on the truck. Will Pro Comp 305/75r16 fit on this truck with no lift? Will there be turning problems? Also someone told me that the 285 that I have now are equal to 33 inch tires. Is this true????

I don't about the 305's. depending on the brand the 285's are approx. 32.9", so yes this are 33's or very close to it..

Ya, the 305's will fit it it's a 4X4. You may want to crank the torsion bars a touch if the front wheels rub a bit. Different tires have different gnarly things on the edges that can cause problems.

I think you mean a 305/70-16 as I have never seen a 305/75-16. A 285/75-16 is approximately a 33x11.50-16. A 305/70-16 is basically a 33x12.50-16. Height is the same, the 305's are just an inch wider. They will fit a stock 4x4 fine. If you have 10 inch wide wheels, you will have to trim the front bumper's lower plastic valance slightly.
