18" wheels and Toyo M/T's

I have a stock height 2003 FX4. I'm considering putting Eagle 178's (18") on with Toyo M/T's. Looks like they have a 33"x13" size. Providing the wheel can handle it, would 13" be too wide for my truck?? And what are the main differences between the A/T and the M/T? Thanks guys

Yes, they will fit, but barely. You will need to crank up the torsion bars and trim some plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. The main difference between the AT's and MT's is the tread pattern and performance. The AT's will ride better and be quieter on the highway, but the MT's will perform much better off road. Remember, tires are always a compromise. You have to be honest with yourself about what you need. Some people NEED a mud tire while some just like the way they look.
Also, welcome to the site.
