just wanted to know what the max tire size i can fit on my stock 2002 fx4 4x4? i have that stock 17x7.5 wheels. also a good pace to get tires? looking for a mud terrain. also if you have pixs if you could post those i would greatly appreciate that.

 

I say 285/70/17s are the biggest you can fit without any issues. But you can fit some slightly larger ones with some small modifications.

 

The absolute largest you can fit is a 315/70-17 (35x12.50). This is an extremely tight fit and personally I wouldn't go with that size unless you plan on a lift in the near future. A better choice would be a 285/70-17 (33x11.50), a 33x12.50-17, a 295/70-17 (34x12.00) or a 305/70-17 (34x12.50).

 

i had 33-12.50s **** cepeks on mine.. loved them. great milage, and now i have the cooper stt 285-70 see what kind of miles i get from them, i'm hoping for around 50k... had 65k on the ****s with prolly another 5k forsure to go. both fit no problem... i also had the baja claws mounted up 33-12.50 but i think i would of had to trim some stuff
