well il say it IM CHEEP, my dad has a small junkyard with trucks and cars that he has had and car that we picked up here and there
i took a set of rims off an older ford truck, they was rusted and a dull gray color, i had them sand blasted and primed, then i took and painted them black with a rattle can, i recently had my mud tires put on them , i just got done putting them on my truck cuz my other tires are starting to come apart,
what i want to know is will the spray paint hold up on these rims or will the red primer start to show through

 

It will last for a little while. It would have been better to have painted them with an automotive grade paint. It would have been a lot more durable than normal spray paint.
