1995 f-150 tire and rim size question

Hi! I have a 1995 f-150 4x4 and i want to go to a bigger tire size. I do not have a lift kit and i want to run 31x10.5x15 tires and i was wondering if they will fit and what size of rim to ru, a 15x7 or a 15x8? Which one works better and is more prefered?
Thanks!

I have same truck, looking to do the same thing (I have a 96). From what I have read from multiple sources, websites, magazines, even suspention lift specs, 31's will fit on your truck with no modification. One thing that I am unsure about is wheel back spacing. I think a 15x8 is recomended, but I bet a 15x7 would work fine. Again, with what back spacing? I am not sure

I'm not sure about wheels size (15x7, I think?) but I had 31's on my '94 4x4 F150 and it was no problem. Even in 4lo I never experienced rubbing on hard turns or anything.
Right now my father has 30x9.5.15's on his 2wd '95 F150 and 31's would fit on there no problem too.

i hvae stock suspension and 31 x 10.50 fit fine, they are on the stock rims too, they do rub a little if you crank the steering wheels to the end but not enough to worry bout
i think 32x 11.50s would fit ok as long as your suspension does not sag any
