Bigger Wheels and tires
I just got my new wheels and tires on and after first glance I am wondering if maybe I could have gone bigger. On a 2001 supercrew lariat 4x4 I put 33x12.5 Procomp AT's on Mickey Thompson Classic II's 17x9. The AT's actually only measure 32.4, and I am wowndering if maybe I should have gone with the 35x12.5 which actually measures 34.85. Or maybe something like the BFG AT 315/70/17 which I think measures 34.6 or 34.8. Is anyone running 35's on 17x9 or 17x10 rims with no lift? I have seen a few 35's with stock wheels which makes me wonder. Oh yeah and sorry for onceagain asking what has to be the most asked question on the site..

re
The 285\70\17 is prolly the biggest u wanna do without a lift. I ran that size on a 16 inch rim with a 3 inch lift for a while. I have 6 inchs of lift now and I run 35"s now, if u could fit it without a lift it would look really crammed. But its ur call man check out some of the galleries and see.

None at all with the stock wheels. Although I did some trimming in anticipation of the 17x9 Helos. I thought I would have them on by now but for some reason the guy only had 3 and had to ship the 4th one from out west somewhere. Hopefully it will be here today and I can get them on and post some pictures.
The FX4 also has factory skid plates if I recall.....
