Easy Question for tire guy

I need new Rubber for my 2001, Xtended Cab w/5.4L. It came with 255/70/R16. I was going to go with the same size tire, but am tempted to go up. How high can I go? 265/75/16? I do not want to go much higher than this. Appreciate any help.

It all depends if its a 4x4 or not, makes a BIG difference.

4x4

It is a 4X4. I have been doing research on the threads. How hard is it to reprogram the truck to except the new tire diameter and account for it on the odometer? How much does that cost?

I put BFG A/T's 285/75/16's on my 97' 4x4 with no lift at all. They do not rub at all. I have a verified 10% speedo error now though, 3 miles on the odo is really 3.3 and 65 mph on the gauge is really 72... I paid $720 mounted and balanced at a local SAM'S Club.
