Question Are they the same

Thanks guys , got a 02 f150 XLT 2WD Supercab with the 16" aluminum wheels. Found apair of 17" factory chome wheels off a 2003 f150 Larait but its a 4x4, will they fit my 2WD, is there a backspacing or offset difference and what esle can I exspect by bumping up (1) size to a 17" wheel. I would like to run a 275/60r/17 on these wheels if i get them. Is this wheel rated for this size tire. Thanks

Yes, you can run the 17's on your truck and 275/60-17's will fit them fine. Both the 16's and 17's have 4 1/2 inches of backspacing. Since the 16's are 7 inches wide and the 17's are 7 1/2 inches wide, they (17's) will "stick out" 1/2 inch farther than your factory 16's.

I wouldn't move up to 17" tires unless you fell in love with the rims. Tires are harder to find and more expensive then the same size in a 16" rim version. Just my humble opinion. If I could drop down to a 15" rim I'd get rid of my stock 18" in a heartbeat.
