New Wheels

Through a warrantly issue involving clip on wheel weights, I will be receiving 4 new OEM Lariat wheels for my truck... Due to the damage caused by the aforementioned weights, I plan on having them balanced with adhesive weights. Of course since the wheels are still in the box, I was going to take them home first and polish and seal them (inside and out) with PB's wheel sealant prior to having them mounted...

Is their a product (such as WD-40?) that the technician can apply to the spot where its's determined the weight is needed prior to application to remove the sealant? As I'm assuming the wax will cause bonding problems for the adhesive...?

What do you guys normally use to remove these weights without damaging the wheel?

Any concerns as far as the adhesive weights staying on a 4X4, thru mud etc?
