Wandell...anyone?

I know I have asked a lot of tire questions and Im sorry . I think this is the final one though. Is there any difference in the height or size of the wheel well in an 05' STX 4x2 reg cab compared to an 04' 4x2 supercab?

Baja4X4's 04' 4x2 s-cab looks like this...
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ht=295%2F70r17

He's running Nitto 295/70R17 grapplers (w/leveling kit) and I was wondering if I could run the same on my stock rims. I think my truck and his are almost the same in height but mine is a reg cab and his is a s-cab. I know they are rated for an 8in rim but I don't think it will matter too much.

What do you guys think. I'd have them tested but there isn't a single place around here that has this size tire.

thanks ahead, Max

Just for your info...

Stock 255/70R17 = 31.1x10.03

What I want 285/70R17 = 32.70x11.22
295/70R17 = 33.25x11.61
difference of 1/2in height & .41in width

Yes, the wheelwells are the same size. You should be fine.
