Tread Life - Nitto vs. BFG

I really like the look of the Nitto TG tires, but I am concerned about tread life. I have owned BFG AT in the past and have gotten ~50k miles out of them. I have heard the Nitto's will only last from 30k - 35k. I put about 40 - 45k on the truck each year, so if I have to get new shoes every 34k miles, that is an issue for me.

Anyone have TGs long enought to see how they are wearing?

thanks
Dave

I've always been a fan of the BFG A/T, but I've only had them on my rangers. I got about 65k on them before they started to look like they were losing tread; and that's with the beat up roads around Vegas.

I've never had any experience with the Nitto's though, so I'm wondering the same thing

Ive got 600 on em and the little nubs that are on the tread of the tire are still on the tires. Not the whiskers......the nubs.

There is no comparison to my old BFGs when it comes to wet road traction. These things stick like they are glued to the road.
