I am trying to get some new tires and wheels for my 2003 F150 FX4. I am stationed in Korea with the Army, so I can't remember what the stock stuff was, but I have a 3 inch body lift on it, and would like to go as big as possible without changing gear ratios. If anybody has some suggestions for the best tire/wheel combo in the biggest size I should go with, I'd appreciate it. Also, if they were available to purchase on-line that'd be the best, so when I get home, I can put them on. Thanks for the help!

 

you can fit up to a 35" tire w/ a little trimming and turning of your torsion bars. you can buy alot of tires online, like at the tire rack or i think tires.com has free shipping on their tires.

 

Right, you can fit 35's with a 3 inch body lift. However, since you don't want to regear, I'd take your powertrain into consideration. Personally, if I had a 5.4 and 3.73 gears, I'd go with 35's in a heartbeat. If the truck has higher gears or a smaller engine, I'd stick with 33's.

 

do all FX4's have 373 gears or is it only the crew cabs that have 373 since there a little bigger truck then the super cab?
