well, thanks to all the input from this forum I've now got a set of Revos on the ol' 98.

I went up a size from the 255s to 265/75/16s and knew ahead of time (thanks to all of you again) that I would have to switch out the vss gear in the tranny to accomodate the larger tires.

So i head to my local dealer and tell 'em i need a 19 tooth "tan" vss gear. He tells me there's 2 part numbers in the system and that it's directional ?! So he just ordered up both of 'em.

SO, what gives ? Is it really directional and if so, which one do I need ?
