Ive got this, not sure how to describe it, rapping/thumping tire type noise. Its kind of like if you put a strip of tape of the wheel and every revolution you hit the tape and it make a tire like thump. The faster I go the faster the noise and slower i go the slower the noise. I know I will be needing new tires soon but I cant see anything wrong with them. Is it tires? or something else?

Any ideas?

 

the stock Goodyear Wranglers that came on my 03 made that noise once they were worn (at about 60k miles).

 

Check the outside edge of your tires to see if they are cupped. Uneven wear. Cupped tires will sound like you describe, and you will be able to feel it too.
