mud flaps

I had a state trooper kindly remind me yesterday that i needed mud flaps for my new lift and tires. (37x13.5xr20) I'm wondering what you guys with bigger tires run since the normal ones that you drill into the fender wouldn't clear the tires. Also looking for a set of fender flairs that would stick out a little farther than the stock but still look like they came with the truck.

That seems odd that he would say something about your mud flups, although I would understand it if he meant your fender flares instead of your mud flaps.

The tires don't stick out that bad, it just throws a lot of dirt on the side of the truck when it rains. But in our state you have to cover the tire down to atleast the center of the wheel so others can see when it rains. That and throwing rocks and stuff at cars. He was nice and didn't give me a ticket but I want to get mud flaps before I catch him on a bad day.
