I have new 22's and have a massive shake at 68mph. We have tried 2 sets of rims, and 11 tires. Origionally 20's and multipul balances, replaced rubber all around twice, now went to 22's and new tires still a shake. Definately coming from the front. Took it to ford, and they said there was nothing wrong? Please.... Anyone else have this problem.

 

I am having the same problem with my 04. (4x4 supercrew with leveling kit). I have the 325/60/18 on MB Motoring Vapors. I have been through 7 tires and 8 road force balances... They are putting the factory stuff back on tomorrow. But I can't stand the Lariat rims.

What tires and wheels do you have?

 

I have Kiezer Rims 22" with Proxie tires. I think I will have to put the old tires on, take it to ford and have them look at it. I did receive a notice from ford that they were extending the warrante on the tires due to a shake problem. I think the 22" just make the problem worse.

?? I spoke to a guy yesterday that had 22"s and he has no problems. Very strange.
