mickey baja claw, will they fit?
Hello all,
I am searching for tires. I like the look of the baja claws. I want an aggressive look, however I want to maintain near stock ride height, i.e. no lift kit, this is my daily driver.
I was looking at the baja claw radials on mickey's website the other day and according to them I can fit 33x12.50's on a 17 inch rim under my truck with no lift kit. I really don't want the tires to stick way out past my wheel wells either.
What do you all think I should do? If you have any other opinions on tires let me know.
Thanks all,
Chris

more info,
Also, as i forgot to mention, I dont really want to hear these things as i'm driving down the highway, enough that if i have the radio on i can't hear is ok. I just thought that since the mickey's are radials, they won't be as loud.
My truck is a 4x4. I"m not sure if it needs a leveling kit. It looks borderline. It has a slight lean, but not near as much as some i've seen.

they should fit might have to cranc up your torsion bars some and cut some of the fron valance, i have the same tires just alot bigger, they are not that noisy for a mud terrain and they are the best offraod tire i have ever owned and i have owned alot, i think you will be empressed with the claws

I have the 33 x12.50 x17 Baja Radials on my 2001 4x4 Lariat. They fit fine with no lift or torsion bar crank. I did not have to cut the front valence either.
ALso, I have my stock saw blades. The tires look good, but next time I will get sightly wider rims from 7.5 to like an 8 or 9".
