I'm going to buy a 20 inch rim with 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Right now I'm struggling because I don't know what offset/backspacing I should get for the look I want.

I like the Boss 315

Both have a +40mm offset and I don't know if that is acceptable. I'd like the wheel to stick out a little but no more than an inch. To get that look, do I need a smaller offset?

I think the Centerline Crossfire most people are using has a 6 inch backspacing but I have no idea what offset that is.

If anyone could try to set me straight I'd really appreciate it. This money is burning a hole in my pocket, but I don't want to get the wrong setup.

 

The standard offset for your wheels now are +44mm. I purchased a set of 20's with an offset of +40 and they did stick out about a half inch...not bad.
