Shipping Cost!!!!!!!
I think it is cheaper to negotiate a deal on tires at a local tire shop. I was gonna buy my tires on line but with the cost of shipping the tires where not all that cheap. Plus I still had to get them mounted and balanced. It will probably be cheaper to get your tires at a local discount tire shop. I bought my wheels online and it was a flat $78 fee for all four and they shipped from Cali to Tex. I was gonna by tires online and they were gonna ship from Louisiana to Tex for bout $98. How can it be that I can get four wheels cheaper from a much further distance. I think the companies uses shipping to get more money from you......my opinion.

Another tire/wheel question. I have an 01 f-150 std cab 4x4. My factory tires are 265/70/17. I want the Nitto Terra Grabber in a 305/75/16 if possible. I will be going with a 16x8 wheel as long as they fit. I would like to not crank up the torsion bars if possible, but I would like to level it out. Please help and give me some insight so I can get what I need. thanks

i dont think you can level it out without cranking the bars, unless you actually LOWER the rear. And you should be able to fit those tire with some fender trimming on a 16x8. on a 16x10 i think you would have to crank the torsion bars. If your worried about loosing ride quality i would just go ahead and crank them. I have a 2000 and when i cranked mine it barely made a difference since it only took two full turns on each side. then when i replaced the factory shocks(which were worn pretty good, being a 2000) it rode better than i started with. just my opinion. good luck. check out my gallery. i have 305/70/16 on 16x10's. again with just two cranks and some fender trimming with a hot knife.

Awesome truck man. I wishI woulda went with the x cab.The method for cranking the torsion bars is? Raise front of truck ,tighten the bolts? Where do I measure from ,how do I know when the sides are the same height? Any other info would be helpful. How do I post pics or start a gallery?

You dont need to raise the truck. Just tighten the bolts up a little bit at a time. You wont necessarily turn both bolts the same amount either.
You do need to get an alignment done on the truck afterwards.
And for measuring I would measure from the ground to the highest point on the fender lip.
