Firestone Destination LE

I have these tires on my truck and I like them alot. They are very good in wet weather. They are an all season tire. They are on road tires so if you are looking for a tire with off road capabilities then these are not the ones. Firestone has sales on them all the time and they can be had for a good price. They come with a 60k mile warranty on the treadwear. I stepped up to 265/76/16 but they do come in the stock size that you want.

I'd suggest the BFG AT KO's, Nitto Terra Grapplers or Toyo Open Country AT's.

Talking Firestone Destination A/T's

Excellent tire for on and offroad . I have had a set for 5000 miles now and love 'em affordable and great traction in wet and muddy conditions. I did lose about 1mpg but great tire .

The stock size on a '03 FX4 is 265/70R17. If your looking for a great tire with excelent on-road quality, with limited off-road capibility then the Michelin Cross Terrain would be a great tire to look into. Now if you want a combo of good quality on and off-road then the BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO would be the way to go.
