Will these tires fit my stock rims?

I am thinking of going with bigger tires, but I am not wanting to get rid of the stock rims if I dont have to. The tires I am looking at are Nitto Terra Grapplers. Their website says either the 285/75/16 or 295/75/16 require a 7.5-9.0" wide rim. My stock rims are 7.0" wide. Can I do this without any problems, legal issues or what ever? Its only .5" what do you think?

Yes, you can run them without problems. Several members here and at FTW have run 315/70's on 7.5 inch wheels for thousands of miles without any problems.

You will however void your tire warranty. Not sure if thats a big thing to most though.

Talking yes on stock!

I currently run 285/75R16's on my stock rims as a daily driver and have had no problems at all! If you want, check out my pics!
