My factory tires are just past 40K on my '02 FX4 SCrew. I am considering getting the BFG A/T's because I think they have a great look and seem to be a pretty reputable tire. I plan on staying with the original size 265/70/17 because I prefer a clean look.

I would like some input as to whether they have high road noise. I don't want loud tires, but would like more of an off-road tire for minimal times that I do actually go off-road (snow, mountain trails, etc.)

Would yall approve of this tire? Is there any other tire you would suggest I take a look at? Please give me some ideas folks, I'm kinda new to the A/T tire stuff. Thanks in advance.

 

I love the BFG's. They have a little more road noise than the original tires that came on my truck but not enough to bother me, plus the performance is so much better! They are great on snow and ice too. I recommend them.

 

I agree. The BFG AT KO's are very quiet. You don't have to worry about noise untill you start looking at mud terrian tires.
