Best MT or AT tire?

Ok im taking votes on what you think the best MT tire is first and then AT? (considering snow traction and noise level)

In MT i was looking at Toyo? Nitto? Cooper?

in AT I was looking at BFG AT KO, not revo cause the dont come in bigger sizes.

Any thoughts?

(Why is it that tire rack doesnt rate toyo, nitto or cooper?)

Anyone know about the new Cooper SST and radial SST? They look great.

I'd say the best MT's available for daily use are the BFG MT KM, Goodyear Wrangler MTR and Toyo Open Country MT. The Toyo's will be the quietest on the highway from the reviews that I have read. The new Nitto Mud Grappler is supposedly a great tire, but very loud on the pavement.
As for AT's, I'd say the best are the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler and Toyo Open Country AT.

BFG Mud Terrains are excellent tires offroad, not the best for street.

As for an AT tire. go with the BFG All Terrain. Good ride on the street and great in the mud. They also will last, they dont wear down too quickly.

Dumb question

Cooper has the new SST tires and they hve the regular SST which look very aggressive and the have the SST Radial which look less agressive, what does the radial mean with a MT tire?

It means the tire is radial construction. Apparantly they make a bias ply version.

I can say the bfg AT is the best AT you can buy. But for a quite yet superb MT i would go with the mastercraft courser MT they are quite and do real good in the mud.
