Tire Size

New to the site, any help is appreciated. I have seen the same question asked many ways but here it is again. I have a 99 150 with the 5.4 and the 3.73 gears, stock heigth with stock 17 inch wheels. Can I go 34's or 35's? Right now there are 265-70-17s and seems like I have a lot of clearance. Will lift eventually but probably a year a way and need tires now. Also want to stick with the stock wheels. Thanks again for any input.

Yes, you can fit 35's (315/70-17) if you use the stock wheels, crank up the torsion bars and/or trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. This is a very tight fit on a stock 4x4. Since you are gonna lift the truck, you might as well go with the 35's.
Also, welcome to the site.
Just a tip. Check with Hummer dealers for deals on BFG AT KO 315/70-17's. They come stock on H2's and some of the large dealerships have them laying around after they install aftermarket wheel and tire combo's.
