Blew third brake hose/line - where to get stainless steel brakes?
Hello All:
I have a 1995 Lightning with under 75,000 miles. About 5 months ago, I had to replace the back brake line, because it has rusted and leaked out the fluid.
Two months ago, the front right brake hose blew off its crimp, looking like the crimp was rusty. I replaced it with another rubber hose.
Yesterday, the front left brake hose blew off (havent been under it yet, just saw the fluid everywhere).
This is not good. I would like to replace all of the brake hoses and lines with stainless steel pieces. Does anyone out there make a full kit for this? In the absence of a full kit, I suppose I could do with just the SS hoses for the front and rear, and keep the standard lines.
Any ideas? Anyone actually done this? Thanks for any help!
