89 F250HD - 1 ton floating axles

The brakes were done a year ago and all works fine but I doubt bearings were repacked. How often does that need to happen?

I am reading the FSM but can someone translate that for me? It's kind of scary --- inner and outer bearings and seal replacer tool and bearing cup driver.
