Question What brake pads did you install?

What brake pads did you install, at what mileage did you replace, and how much did they cost you? I'm just doing a survey, and would appreciate any feedback before I buy new pads.

Cool

At first I went with the Albany pads from Auto Zone(about 95K miles-bought truck used @92K) , then , because of way too much dust and not as good stopping power as I wanted, I returned those and went with the Bendix TitainuMetallic pads(about $40-45, life-time warranty, from Advanced Auto Parts). GREAT stopping power, no brake fade, and a bit less dust than OEM pads. I also replaced my rotors w/the ones from Advanced(the $36 or $38 ones w/a 2 year warranty). Bendix pads installed and rotors replaced at about 115,000 miles. Had original rotors turned twice-95K and 107K. Don't know what all was done before I bought truck, but I know the rotors were the originals, and I think the pads had been replaced once with Ford(oem) pads.

Hope this helps

Just replaced my pads, turned rotors, and flushed the entire hydraulic system: 52K mi.

Pads: Bendix "FM", Fleet/heavy duty series.
