Cool Redding to Chico

Just wondering if I'm the only Street truck guy around here. I have yet to see any F150 clubs or any other lowered trucks. Maybe I moved to the wrong hood...lol The only car show or clubs we have around here are for classics. I think it would be pretty cool to do one of our own.

Most of the vehicles here are 4x4 or a J.C. whitney nightmares. Or even worse a south of the border nightmares. 26 inch rims on a 500 dollar truck just seems not to smart to me. 10,000 watts in a 87 Ford Explorer van that barely runs smokin at the stop light. Some folks around here have strange taste or typical taste and can't think outside the box a bit. I just do my thing and keep to myself. I was hoping to spark a little comraudery amungst f150 guys out this way but at the same time with guys like minded. This town is very different from what I am used to. I tried to reach out a bit and everyone seems self absorbed or just seems beat down and don't want to do anything. So that being said I just keep spinning wrenches by myself and have become content just doing my own thing. I am open to options but not holding my breathe at this point. What truck did you have? I may have seen it before.

I pass through that area maybe once a year at best. I was from Sac and am glad I'm not anymore. If it's not bolted or alarmed it's gone and even then dumbasses can't get a job and buy there own crap. They would rather steal it and get fat off the backs of us guys that earn every penny or part fair and square. I have had many altercations due to my sense of justice and whats right and wrong. Can't stand a free loafing, thieving SOB, on foodstamps driving an Escalade on 26's dealing crack on franklin Blvd. Wanted to hang with some honest hard working Ford guys and help each other out on projects. So far I've had no luck. There is always some type of underminding, try to hook up with my wife B.S. I'm to old for that type of contraversy crap and would rather put the crosshairs on them...lol

Yep, typical California folks right there... That is why I am moving out of this turd of a state this year after living my whole 27 years here. When I was 16 on AOL IM/chat rooms I was proud to put 16/m/Cali ().... Now I am embarrassed to be part of the "Cali" society.

I'm in the Davis area, not many Ford trucks around here either. Mostly ricers with fart cans, wings, and stupid HIDs due to the high Asian population at the university. I grew up in the Bay Area and the south bay had a solid base for Ford trucks with a couple neat clubs.

I never saw any clubs in sac. Probably because where I was at was pretty ghetto. People Mobbing caprice classics or expeditions with 26" rims playing music like a ghetto concert on wheels with enough obsentities to make most people blush. I've been frustrated by people these days. They come up and ask you about your truck while scoping it out like the wanna rip you off. Is that what this F'ed up state has come to? What ever happened to earn what you get and help your fellow man. People are just shiesty now. I had a guy here try pulling the come up and talk like a ford guy the look straight at the DVD head unit. I told him to get the F away from me then double armed the alarm just to make noise. The next month or so I'm knee deep in projects. I just got my seats and console and Today my ground kit from DG motorsports came in too. Gears are on sunday and I need to order paint. Busy but the good kind of busy. In the end It should look pretty cool. Boat loads of hard work and everthing on a legit dollar ta boot.
