California F-150Online.com Glamis Meet Oct 28-29

Glamis is located just over 100 miles due east of Indio, California. I am trying to gauge interest in exactly how many F-150Online.com members would be interested in making a trip out there around Halloween. In Glamis, there are somewhere around 84 square miles of sand dunes of all heights and sizes. It ranges from novice to experienced. You can get by with a 2wd truck, but only if you stay on the beaten path. Such sights as Oldsmobile Hill, China Wall (accessible only by quad), and Osborne Outlook are there to be seen. Since I live in Indio, we can all meet up the morning of the 28th in Indio, and go from there. I would say that I have a pretty good idea of the "layout of the land" so to speak since I have been going there for a few years now. You can all bring the usual supplies that are required for camping, or if you have a trailer (toybox) bring that too. I will start a list below. Please add your name to the list by quoting that portion of this post and adding. Let's go have some fun in the desert with some REAL dunes.

There is also a store nearby if we forget anything, and there is plenty of offroading and awesome terrain to experience. Please PM me with any questions.

If the truck is here (should be) I'm willing to truck on out. Just found out I will not be taking delivery of the truck this week. Need to have some more custom wiring harnesses made to get her running right.

Doesn't look look any one is interested in going to Glamis either.
I will be either going there or Gordons Well, just depends on what we decide as a bunch of people that i know are going to Gordons so we'll see.

Where do you usually camp Chris? We usually just find a nice spot off geko road somewhere and set up camp.

Well we will be going out to Glamis this weekend.
I will be going out on thursday. We are going to try and find a spot on Geko but if not there then most likely down by the washes. I talked to some people that were out there last weekend and there were already peple getting spots for this weekend so we'll see.
Can't wait to get into real dunes.

I'll be there provided I can still have the time off. They just fired a guy at work, so now we're short-handed. It is the weekend though, so everyone will be there. We'll see what happens.
