!!!*3rd California Pismo Beach Meeting*!!!

Here we go again guys. Who is up for the last Pismo Beach meet of the year, winter is setting in and it's going to get downright cold afterwards. If you're interested in attending add your name to the list in your post like before. We've always had a blast @ our pismo meets and I have to say the last meet was my favorite. The date is up for grabs but I'm throwing this out there if you can all make it or not.

Oct 21-22nd -or- November 4-5th...Oct date is exactly one month from today and I prefer that date for weather reasons. They are both Saturdays and Sundays. If you can make it let us know! Leave your contact info as well including email, phone, name, location, etc.

If you want the pics from the last pismo meet let us know, Joe (teckbargins) has them in his gallery. Also look in my sig for the 1st pismo meet we had. We've had 2 Pismo meets before this.

You're insane. It's gonna be freezing in late October/Nov. That's Glamis time for me anyway. But yeah, if its already in the 60's at night here, I can only imagine how cold it will be in a month at Pismo. But, hey good luck getting that organized.

Your weather sucks, we're still having 75deg sunny weather up here. Is it at least sunny 90% of the time there? Is it in the 60's during the day or only @ night? I think it might be a good idea to wait this one out and/or find a spot we can go where it snows. I can just imagine all the F-150's in the snow, listening to the stock bfg's crush the freshly laid snow.

Winter is wonderful, any idea for a location guys...somewhere in central california? Maybe a place to snowboard/ski. We can do that and then hang out, go wheeling, stay the night...something.

Ill try to make it, but no promises. I can only do the oct date though, got plans that weekend in Nov. I was just at Pismo last weekend and it was the best weekend so far, mid 70's and no cloud cover all day. Loved it.

Thats not bad weather chris, you idiot. Lets go to Pismo for the last trip of the year Oct 21-22, shall we. Let me know what you are thinking. I called and talked to bryan who blew his motor (piston rings), he wants to make it with his buddy and his jeep. What do you guys say?

I dont get any weekends off at my new job. I am going to have to request the weekend of the 31st off for Glamis anyway, so no go on the Pismo trip. Besides, it's 300 miles one way and at this point, I cant afford to miss work and be so far away twice in a month. Baby on the way, remember?

You mean to tell me she wasn't even that pregnant last trip yet you cried about her "pregnant"? You bitch a lot chris, I am revoking your pregnant voucher as it's been like 11 months and she's still pregnant. But we still want you there even though we know you won't make it. lol.

If you must know, my WIFE is still pregnant, yes. And it's been approximately 4 months since you saw me in Pismo and I had to pull your busted ass truck off the dunes.

Also, in case you didnt know the human gestational period is 40 weeks from the time of last menstrual cycle. Do the math, that's 10 months. 10 - 4 = 6? I think thats right. The baby is due January 5th, but will most likely come early since most (98%) of pregnancies are considered "full term" at 37 weeks.

Finally, I've got more important things to do than drive 300 miles one way (for one day of fun) when I've got a commitment to my job, my wife, and my soon to be born child. That commitment is that I am directly responsible for their well-being and survival. It's called being an adult. No worries, you'll be there one day and you'll know where I'm coming from. Do me a favor, in the future just trust me when I say I can't make it, and please don't accuse me of "bitching." I do not "bitch." I tell it like it is. Last time was a rareity, and the only way forseeable that I will be coming back to Pismo is if I win the Mega Millions jackpot (at which point money no longer would hold any significance to me).

Guys, have fun out there, and please no more broken trucks?

EDIT: Forgot to add, I can go 85 miles one way and have WAYYYYYY more fun than Pismo anyday. It's called Glamis, and on the rare chance that I do get some weekends off this winter, that's where I'll be. Can you say 100 sq mi of dunes? I can...

In other words, you have a short leash [cracks whip]

I think that sunburn damaged your brain though. I can't imagine having more fun in a place with no beach, no hotties in bikini's sounds like a gay mans paradise.

Only giving you a hard time Chris, good luck to you and your kid, wife...and the lottery. It was good having you there for the short time you were, and thanks for pulling my ass off the beach, I hope you'll cherish that memory because it won't happen again. Hopefully you can make it back out to one of these meets with your new kid or you SoCals can make a trip to Glamis together, Glamis is out of my reach but I may move to SoCal for school so we'll see.

It's called being p-whipped.

Sunburn didnt damage my brain! There are a million hot chicks out in Glamis! I guess you wont know until you go.

And I will make it back to one of the meets eventually. I just dont feel like sleeping in a tent, and driving so damn far for only one day. I wanna wait a while till the point where I can go up for a week and take a new toyhauler with me, and REALLY enjoy the trip. It was really cool meeting all of you, but I wanna fully experience it if I have to drive that far again, get my drift?

If yo9u do end up moving down here for school, be sure to look me up so we can show you what Glamis is all about. Thanks...
