Ford F150 One Piece Driveshaft Slip Bump- FIX!

I got a real good example of this concern in today and I show you guys. In this video I show what is causing it and just how to fix it. While this concern is well documented on the two piece drives hafts not much is out there specifically on the one piece drive shafts.

I have a bump noise from the rear end that sounds like what you are describing. It only happens when the truck is cold and in the warmup/high idle phase. Do you think it could be fixed with the procedure you described? I have a 2012 FX4 6.5 bed screw.

I'm in the same boat with my '12 Lariat 4WD 6.5' bed. I think I'll be dropping my driveline to check it out.

Anyone know if they started lubing the single piece drive shafts at the factory for the 2014 models?

Well the biggest thing I like about you is that you care. You seem to like your job, genuinely want to get things fixed for the customer, and make sure everyone knows what's wrong so we can all get our trucks and cars running properly.

I work at a dealership too, though not on the service side of things, and just like at all businesses, lots of employees don't care all that much. It seems like you need engineers and doctors to get employees that give a crap about what they do. But thankfully, that statement isn't all encompassing and there are still folks out there that do a good job, doing it to the best of their ability.
