Need to change coil & spark plug

Recently I had a leak on my heater hose and it leaked on my coil & spark plug. If you are facing the car it would be the one on the left side.Last plug against the wall,it was a bitch to take out.I took off the coil and pulled the boot,I never did see the plug until I borrowed a long special plug wrench from my friend.I pulled so hard that the silver clip stayed on the plug,is there a special way or a tool I need to pull the boot off the plug because I want to change every one. And how long do coil's last.Thank's

*hammer-

That hose leak/coil problem is regularly reported here.
Use dielectric grease to help future removals.
Yes, a nice assortment of sockets and extensions are required for a plug change without severe anguish.
Although many have complained of coil problems, they aren't generally replaced until they go bad.
