Question Need some replacement engine advice for my 2006 Mark LT

Hello

My Mark LT engine with 160K has had enough. I want to get a replacement engine but not a Triton. Can anybody recommend a good replacement with increased performance potential?

6.2 from a Raptor
5.2 from the GT350R
5.8 from GT500

Any of those is an expensive and involved swap.

Lol so is swapping a Hemi into an F150.

The simplest/cheapest thing to do is pull the current motor (or get another 5.4) do a little port and polish, upgrade the VCT and plugs, and add a Whipple on top.
Bolt into the current truck and 400hp at the crank.

To get "not a Triton" find a wrecked 5.0 truck and pull the engine, trans, and computers.
