Hope someone can help, was driving into dealer to trade in my f150 for a used one. as i pulled into the parking spot my engine light came on and it started running really rough, almost stalling. It appeared to be misfiring? i borrowed a scanner and it said a few codes:
Misfire on cylinder 5,6,7,8, codes didnt show up in that order it started with just 7, that is the entire bank 2

Also had code p0022 - timing off bank 2

also had p2189 a o2 senor?

So my common sense tells me that all the coil packs didnt just go bad all of a sudden on just bank 2, I will swap one out from the other side to see if the codes change.

I read issues with the VCT sensor and wonder if that could cause the problems on just bank 2?

The o2 sensor im wondering if that is because the misfiring is going on cause it to run lean and or rich?

that was another code about running to rich and lean?

I have had this truck since new and took great care of it, 220,00 miles and not a scratch on it and its never let me down....until i went to trade it in...figures

 

I suppose we are required to guess the year and size of the engine.
