Won't crankup in cold temps

My 06 v8 5.4 won't crankup when the temperature drops it's driving me crazy. I try to start it and won't turn over but a few hours later when the temperature rises it starts with no problems. I have a new battery and checked the alternator anyone ever ran into this type of issue?

How many Cold Cranking Amps is your battery rated for? It may not be up to par.
