Question 5.0L vs 3.5L Ecoboost

I opted for a 5.0L V8 in my new 2015 F150 XLT instead of the 3.5L Ecoboost. I plan to tow a 23ft travel trailer, no more than 7500# total. Hope I made the right decision? (I am early in the process of researching all the questions about hitches, weight maxes and distribution, and other equipment nec).

I don't think you can go wrong with either option. I love my 5.0, and have heavy towed with it too

If you plan on keeping this truck for 5-10+ Years you have made the right decision.

It will downshift a lot towing 7500#, but it will pull it till you get to real high altitudes.
