06 5.4l runner rough. no egr valvle?

06 5.4l runner rough. no egr valvle?
I have a 06 f150 5.4 that is idling rough with a rich fuel smell. All the form said to replace the EGR valve but this is no EGR valve on a 06 5.4l. Any Ideas of what it would be?
