2006 ford f150 5.4 triton issue

So, I was thinking about installing the can phaser lockouts because my phasers are bad. My truck has an awful 12 psi oil pressure at idle. Think I should still do that? Would it fix my issues by installing the lockouts? I don't get it because if i unplug the cps for bank 2 the truck idles alright and doesn't knock real loud.

No, I think you need to fix whatever is knocking your oil pressure down and replace the phasers with the latest improved parts.

low oil psi? Do an oil change thicker oil and new filter. I have seen defective oil filters cause low oil psi. To be sure its not the oil pump or clogged screen, do a test with a oil pressure gauge and flex line right off the block. How many miles on the motor?

We've lost continuity because this is now the 4th thread started by this member on essentially the same issue. For reference:
