had several miss fire issues and changed all the COPs, had to change the #4 twice. during this I also have had the pcm memory fail the self check at start up. I can clear code and it stays off but will come back randomly at start ups only. ford tech says this can not be as a bad computer would not let engine run, engine runs fine, good mileage, pickup, just the check engine light coming on.

so....should I just try to have i have it flashed? how much should i expect to pay for that ?

oh ya-- while change the #4 coil i unplugged the computer for better access and the code stopped for several days but it's started coming on again.
