2003 F250 5.4 Timing chain swap

so I pulled the timing chain and cam sprocket before I read this thread

I did put the crank key in the completely opposite 6 o'clock position. And I marked the cam shaft sprocket.

When I took the chain off the camshaft sprockets both moved on me a little.

Does anybody have ideas on the best way to go forward?
Im thinking just move the cam sprockets back to the way they were when the chain came off and then putting the chain back on.

problem is I don't know how "off" it was when I started..

will the cam sprocket marks still line up properly like the thread above mentions even though my key is now upside down?

heres how I marked in on the cam sprockets. scratched marks in both where the level is. But you can see how loose the right chain is.

the paint pen marks on the chain and cam sprockets were my first idea. you can ignore those I decided after it would be heard to see the paint marks on the chain with a new chain... duh. I lined up the crank at 6 oclock and then scratched the cam sprockets.
