P0308 after replacing thermostat

I have a 2001 F150 with 4.6L V8. The thermostat was stuck open so I replaced it. Now it is running very rough and throwing a code for cylinder 8 misfire. I think I must have bumped something but I could not spot a problem. Any leads on what to check?

Do you have plug wires or coil on plug? If plug wires, check the wire to #8 and the coil tower. If COP, check the connector. Make sure the boot hasn't popped loose off the plug. Check the fuel injector connector. #8 is driver's side closest to the firewall.
