Ford F150 4.6 Engines

Does anyone know if a 4.6 engine and transmission out of a 1997 F150 will fit right back into a 2002 F150 that had a 4.6 in it.

Yes engine will fit no I wouldnt do it. The 97 has non PI heads the 2002 has PI. Unless the engine has no miles on it and it is an absolute killer deal pass on it! Transmission is most likely NOT doable.. The went with more electronics. To big of a hassle.
