Idler pulley replacement

I need to replace my tensioner with pully, she's getting noisy. My question is this...I read that I can replace just the bearing and not the entire tensioner. If so then how do I remove the bearing off the tensioner? Does anyone know the pn and where I can get that bearing? I also want to replace my idler pulley while I'm there. How many idler pulleys are there? I can see one but am I missing some?

03 F-150 5.4 v-8

Thanks !!

Howdy.

Can you? Yes.

How? They just press out.

You have TWO idlers. - one for each bank.

Example & p/n's in here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...ur-5-4-3v.html

Suggest that you press out all the bearings, take them to a bearing supply shop and have them match 'em.

While yer at it, check the tensioner fer 'tension', lol, replace if necessary. Also - good time to replace the belt wif a Gatorback.

Yep.

Be advised - if yer talking aboot the belt as well - two different rib counts (an possibly length differences) so ensure you get a belt that's for ye specific engine & MY.
