Engine runnign rough

Hello-
New here.

Recently bought a 2006 F-150, 5.4L.

Within a week, CEL came on, resulting in replacing the #2 coil pack. Was better.

Then a tick tick tick started coming from the heads. the Ford Dealer repaired something to do with phasers? While they were in there, I had the center replace plugs and "tune up", tune up only cost 219$ which seemed cheap?

Then a week later I took a trip over the mountain. First time on any steep hills. Going up hill....was rough. Ran so rough the wiper blades started jumping. Down hill seemed to be better. Seemed to run rough only under load...CEL was flashing but when taken into Autozone, the codes were not readable. I then hooked up my code reader and found an error relating to cyl 1 misfire. But even without deleting code, the code was never found again...but still runs rough under load?

Any ideas?

Misfire. How many miles?
$219 is pretty cheap for a plug change with that motor. But, could be. If they replaced the plugs, coils would be likely.

Wow

Found out that the dealer, even though they claimed to have changed the plugs, NEVER did. Another shop was looking at it today...the #1 plug came out, finger tight. And it was an old plug!!!!
UGH!

I don't think there is a Ford dealer garage in the country that will install new plugs in a 2006 5.4 for $219.
