Fuel Injectors

I was looking to replace all the fuel injectors in my truck but seem to have a problem...

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 4.6L that I had to replace the engine on and took it to some place where they put in a used 2004 4.6L in it.

I've been looking at the fuel injectors online and for some reason the fuel injectors I have on the truck right now are the ones for the 2001 engine which apparently are not compatible with the 2004.

The part number I got from the injectors currently on the truck is 0280150556. I looked it up and it shows that they are compatible with a 2001 engine but not the 2004.

So my question is do I go ahead and buy the same injectors or do I buy the 2004 injectors? Or will either of them work?

When they replaced your engine they more than likely used the original 2001 truck wire harness and intake manifold on a 2004 long block.. Therefore they used the 2001 fuel injectors. If the truck is running good then get the replacement injectors that match the ones you currently have on the truck.
