What process did you use to replace the blown spark plug?

Thanks for the info. Engine light not on mechanic checked codes reading everything ok. Plug that was replaced was badly worn almost no electrode left if other plugs worn this bad wondering if replacing all would be next step or a waste of time and finances ?

Hey.

First - no light does not always mean no stored codes are present.

Second - if ONE plug was worn, it's almost a certainty the others are as well.

Third - please answer Dynotech's question.

Thanks

Hey.

No worries, mate.

Would it be possible for you to find out which specific method he used? It is important.

As well - could you please ask him ( nicely of course ) if he examined Mode 6 misfire count data ?

The persistent rattling sound is troubling - I would elect not to drive it much pending further diagnosis to ensure no more damage is being done.

Thanks, and Good luck.
