motor swap

I have a 2000 F150 5.4. (L)motor in my truck it slug a rod. Can I put a 2005 5.4 (5) vin motor in it. I know its the 3 valve motor but it has 40,000 miles on it an it's free.

It wouldn't be anywhere near free after doing all the mods needed to do that swap. I don't think it's feasible.
